I have been spending so much money lately, not anything I could wear though but craft supplies for my project. I'm so worried to look at my bank account. And on top of that, mid season sales are everywhere! So I couldn't resist taking advantage of that!

I saw this bag at our local department store, Vroom en Dreesman, and I had to have it! I immediately fell in love with the print, not everyone's taste but it certainly got my attention. It wasn't on sale or anything but my friend who works there told me that they'll be having discount stickers, where you can stick 20% off any item you want. So I waited a week to get it, and boyy was that long! When I got in store to buy it, they didn't have it on the display anymore, but the salesclerk was so kind enough to look in their storageroom and sure enough they still had it.

The bag was eventually 26 euros which I think is not bad at all! And you get two straps with it, one for the day when running errands and the other one for the evening with a more sophisticated look. It's like having two different bags! I'm really loving Parfois, they have a really nice collection for reasonable prices. My first time buy, but definitely not the last!

I missed you guys! Disaster week is finally over, for now! I had a rough week at uni. I had to finish my minor project, but really didn't do much during the holiday, which made me do a lot of last minute work.. I had so much struggles the last half of college year that I just wanted to get it over with a passing grade. Which is such a shame, because I really do like the minor itself, just this project didn't really kick in. Because all of the procrastination I had to make it up in the last week.. I seriously was awake for 36 hours straight the last days before the presentation and I haven't really got my sleep back, so I'm writing this with a sleepy eye. After the presentation I went to the city to celebrate my passing grade with a Zara retail therapy! I got this envelop layered bag for 15 euros. This bag reminds me of the celine one. I have wanted to buy a similar one when I saw it on "A pair & a spare". This one is perfect, it's big enough for a tablet and has a long strap which you can take it off.

Do you also like to shop to celebrate a passing grade or something similar?

Personal | Going to Paris

As you may have read in my previous post, I am finally going to Paris, in a few hours. I'm so excited to leave and just enjoy my weekend there. I'm going with a friend of mine, Roz, with a bustour straight from the Hague to Paris. We made use of a Groupon deal, which is 80 euros per person for 2 nights in a hotel with breakfast. Definitely a bargain! And we even get to tour with the bus through Paris. So I've been there a couple times with my parents, but I can't wait to enjoy Paris on my own.
